Paintless Dent Repair in Jacksonville, FL

JAX DENT repairs qualifying dents without sanding, filling or repainting. Text us two photos of the damage and we will tell you whether paintless dent repair is the right fix for your vehicle.

What paintless dent repair is

Paintless dent repair (PDR) reshapes the metal of a panel from behind or around the dent, using specialized tools and focused lighting. The goal is to massage the panel back to its original contour.

Because the work happens without body filler, sanding or paint, your vehicle keeps its original factory finish, with no color matching, no overspray and no repair that stands out next to the surrounding paint.

When PDR is a good fit

PDR works best when the paint is intact and the metal can be accessed. Common examples we evaluate include:

  • Door dings from parking lots and tight spaces
  • Minor dents and shallow creases on metal panels
  • Hail dings on unpainted panels with intact clear coat
  • Damage on doors, fenders, hoods and quarter panels with room to work behind the panel

When PDR is not the right fix

PDR is not appropriate for every dent. Cracked, chipped or stretched paint, deep creases that break the surface, rust, and damage that needs body filler usually require a conventional body shop instead. Some bumper damage on flexible plastic also falls outside typical PDR work.

If your damage does not qualify, we will say so and explain the options. A photo estimate is free and there is no obligation to book.

Common questions

Does paintless dent repair require repainting?

No. The technique is designed to preserve the original factory paint. If the paint is damaged, PDR is usually not the appropriate repair.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Photo estimates are always free and there is no obligation. If the damage cannot be repaired using PDR, we will explain the available options.

Where do you provide service?

JAX DENT provides mobile PDR in Jacksonville and surrounding areas, with service available up to 50 miles. Travel fees may apply to extended service areas. Home, workplace and apartment parking-area service is available where permitted.

Where can the repair be done?

We can work in driveways, workplaces and permitted parking areas. Covered space is helpful but not required. Outdoor repairs cannot be performed during rain. Payment is due after the repair. Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check, Zelle and Cash App.
